Morphing Machines develops REDEFINE, a runtime-reconfigurable many-core processor architecture intended to combine FPGA-like flexibility with ASIC-level performance for data centres, AI, and high-performance computing.
Why They Matter
Compute architecture is one of the places where small technical teams can matter if the underlying idea survives customer reality. Morphing Machines matters because it works below the application layer, in silicon architecture and tooling itself. The path is difficult: architecture companies need a working chip, a software toolchain, and developer confidence at the same time.

- REDEFINE many-core reconfigurable processor architecture developed and patented from IISc-incubated research
- Series A first close of about Rs 38.4 crore completed in October 2025, led by IAN Alpha Fund
- Second Series A tranche of about Rs 42 crore completed in April 2026 with Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures, Colossa Ventures, and Navam Capital
- First chip build-and-test phase funded
- Software toolchain for REDEFINE under active development
